For a 1000th times make a town reel said man on the You Tube and I did. Reel of Dalkey Village in county Dublin. Amazingly situated between Killiney Hill and Dun Laoghaire just at the coast. In my opinion is one of the most beautiful spots in Ireland. Little town that you're rarely tired of going to .

I wanted to approach drone-flying a bit different this time and filmed a place that means a lot to a lot of people. I wanted to do it in the way that locals are not bothered by a man making noise above their houses. You have to know that Dalkey is tiny. There isn't a space that will accommodate a drone pilot with his machine that is not full of houses, cars , trees etc. Village is densely populated with millions of cars and railway just cuts in half this gem of a little town. Maybe there is somewhere better that place I choose but I had no time and energy to look to be honest. It took me three days of good stable weather to film all the locations. I know some shots are bright but at the end of the day I like that consistency in lighting. I tried to go each day roughly at the same time to achieve similar conditions. A little street beside trains station was perfect for all the town center shots. My drone stayed in visual line of sight all he time. Flying in busy towns is stressful. I kept safe distance and everything was legal but still. Other locations weren't problematic at all. Easy and spacious locations means pure enjoyment. I love this job.
