Long time no see I want to say. After weeks of hard work, crisis came and it has been very hard to be disciplined to do things. I don't know if you guys have the same? Probably you feel similar sometimes. So I had a little brake from doing things but didn't have a break from things I love. In other words after months of siting at home building web page, doing weights and meditating time came to do a little trip to Rome, Italy with my father. I was fighting with myself about taking a drone with me. I ended up not taking it because plan was to go lightweight and my Mavic isn't a lightest and smallest to fit in 25L backpack. Mavic Mini of some sort would do the job most likely. I don't have one yet so I didn't have a drone with me. From what I saw Rome has huge drone photography potential for the future. I had my Lumix G9 with me and my father who isn't very easy to pleased traveling wise but when he heard about Rome trip he was very happy.

We landed In Rome early in the morning on Saturday to find out that non stop Rome Fiumicino Airport- Roma Termini train doesn't operate. We took bus instead and after about 40 min we jumped out at Termini Station. Weather was perfect. Full sun and around 10 degrees Celsius, light wind. Our accommodation texted me day before to let me know that our previous room isn't available and they offer us a different room or if we don't accept this change we can receive a refund. It was strange because when I was checking booking.com first location was still available. After some time we decided that we accept a new place. After jumping out at Termini Station we had about five hours to see Rome from Termini to room close to Vatican City. We took a long walk stopping in different churches, taking photos and looking around. Funny that we took a route and at very first day we saw Colosseum, Capitoline Hill, Forum Romanum, Piazza Navona, Saint Angel castle and number of different attractions. We landed at our room to take a short brake and charge batteries after. Evening was reserved to have a first look at Saint Peter Basilica and surroundings, food, photos and so on.

Next days I can describe as me and my father transforming into Inner Pilgrims doing just under 30000 steps every day. We've seen the whole Vatican City available for tourist. We walked around the city walls as well. We went into Saint Peter Basilica on one of the mornings to see its majesty. It's impressive how people hundreds years ago was able to build churches like this. Absolutely stunning and majestic. Same as Vatican Museum. Countless pieces of arts just beyond the capabilities and perception to even look at all of them. If you would like to know what is going there you would need couple of days or weeks just in Vatican Museum itself.

Beautiful city, open air museum, piece of art. That's how i would describe Rome. I seriously think that everyone should go there at least one in a lifetime. Below I share my favorite photo taken early in the morning at Saint Peters Square. Enjoy!
